Omen - Voces Divinas

An omen (also called portent or presage) is a phenomenon that is believed to foretell the future, often signifying the advent of change.Though the word "omen" is usually devoid of reference to the change's nature, hence being possibly either "good" or "bad," the term is more often used in a foreboding sense, as with the word "ominous". The origin of the word is unknown, although it may be connected with the Latin word audire, meaning "to hear."

Un presagio es un fenómeno que se cree que sirve para adivinar el futuro, y que a menudo hacen referencia al advenimiento de un cambio. También son llamados augurios, como los realizados por los augures en la Antigua Roma. El Ornen (por orimen de los Latinos). Estas palabras casuales, se llamaban voces divinas, cuando no se sabía la persona que las pronunciaba: tal fue la voz que anunció a los Romanos que se acercaban los Galos, y esta voz divina mereció que se la erigiera un templo con el nombre de Aio Locucio.
